overview of Music video

A music video is basically a short film or a collage of clips merged together
with music put with them.
In the early 1800's when sheet music publishers were still incharge of the
music business, a man called George Thomas put together a series of various
black and white still images creating the first ever music video. Then in 1926 around the time when Warner brother's music industry had just started artists began making short films and merged them together with music which eventually lead to musical films being made and now to today's modern music videos.

Music videos are very important to today's generation as they can either explain an artists emotions and how they are feeling or express in an artistic way, what they have been through. They are also very important as they are a really good source of entertainment and most of today's generation feel they can relate to the video.
